Black Friday, is it?
Is it named because of how we feel after eating too much turkey? Nope.
It has some different origins, meaning different things, but most of us today relate it to start of some of the busiest shopping days of the year. And that term actually was originated in Philadelphia, referring to heavy traffic, and retailers correlate it as the point of the year where the sales go from being in the “red” and going into the “black”.
But Cyber Monday is catching on. It’s the Monday after Thanksgiving, when people actually shop online, from work and home, many of them do so, to avoid the heavy traffic of Black Friday.
Since we just saw or reached out to the ones that are dear to us yesterday, maybe it’s the right time to get them something special for the upcoming holidays?
Whatever days we choose to buy…it’s that time of year to shop
